Best Wishes

Hello Friends!  It has been almost a month since my last post...ugh!  I truly miss sharing my creations and visiting your blogs to see what you have created.  I am hoping for life to slow down a bit in the new year that is ahead.  I have made time to craft (it truly relaxes me), but I have not had as much computer time as I would like.  Please bear with me.

My card for today is for Jen Del Muro's last Sketch For You To Try.  I will miss Jen's sketches.  She is SO talented and always inspires me.  I have loved using her sketches.  In fact, I have played along each month for the last two years!  In order to be eligible for her grand prize, I need to provide the links to all of this past year's cards.  Here are all of the cards for this past year that I have created with Jen's fantastic sketches.  (Just click on the month to see them.)  My January card, February card, my March card, my April card, my May card, my June card, my July card, my August card, my September card, my October card, my November card, and my card today is for her December sketch (which you can find HERE.)  THANK YOU, JEN!!!

Today's card uses a sentiment from a Taylored Expressions set and the main image is from Karen Lockhart.  The papers are from My Mind's Eye and Crate Papers.  I also used the Seeing Spots embossing folder, the Fishtail Flag Die-namics from My Favorite Things, and the small scalloped oval is made with a Punch Bunch punch that I just had to have because Jen used this same punch many moons ago on her "Genie Bags" on Splitcoast Stampers...lol!  I also added a button and some brads to finish this creation off.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today!  I truly hope to post again before the New Year.  I wish you all of the joys and blessings that Christmas brings.  Merry Christmas, Friends.  Until next time...Toodles!  :D

A Few Cards to Share

Hello Friends!  Happy Sunday Evening!  Did you have a Happy Thanksgiving?  Mine was spent with my wonderful family, and I am quite thankful for that.  Last Sunday, I escaped to my Stamping Room, put on my favorite radio show (Radio Deluxe with John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molasky), and stamped away.  I haven't really had too much time in between though to post my creations.  So here it is, Sunday evening again, I'm listening to Radio Deluxe again, but instead of stamping...I'm finally blogging.  Here are my creations.  First up is a card that was completely inspired by my sweet blogging friend, Wanda Guess.  Here is the link to her creation.

I picked up this set of stamps at Michaels and the sentiment is one that I've had on hand for quite some time.  Wanda's cards using similar stamps are so beautiful.  This is a technique that I'll have to try again.

My next card was inspired by a layout that I saw in the Taylored Expressions newsletter.  I believe that the card was designed by Tracy Clemente.  The flowers and sentiment are from the Daisy Bouquet set from TE.  I used the Fishtail Die-namics from My Favorite Things, some My Mind's Eye papers, a Papertrey Ink button, and some machine stitching to finish this one up.  I also used Copic Markers to color up the flowers, but I can't seem to put my finger on the list at the moment.  I'll be sure to update later once I find it.

My last card for tonight is for Jen Del Muro's November Sketch For You To Try.  Please click here for the link to play along.  There are a few days left in the month.   I started with these pretty blue and yellow papers from My Mind's Eye, and then I created this sentiment on the computer with a couple of different fonts.  The circle scallops and the border scallops were made with Die-namics from My Favorite Things.  I tied the card layers together with some navy organdy ribbon and a button from my stash.

There you have it.  I actually stamped and now I have actually blogged...lol!  Have a wonderful week!  I hope to be back soon.  Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit!  Until next time...Toodles!  :D

I Stamped!!!

Hello Friends!  I hope that you are well.  I managed to squeeze in a little bit of stamping time this afternoon.  A friend of mine needed some thank you cards, so this is one of the designs that I came up with.  I used Jen Del Muro's October Sketch For You To Try for the layout.  As much as I tried to stick to the sketch, I ended up replacing the two tilted panels with two Kraft colored buttons from My Favorite Things.  This sweet little mouse is from Stampavie.  I colored him up with Copic Markers (B00, B12, B95, B97, B99, E25, E29, E30, E31, E33, E35, R20, YG63, YG67, YR00, YR15, YR18, and the Colorless Blender) and I then I fussy cut him out.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and all of the papers are from My Mind's Eye.  The orange pieces were made with the Fishtail Flag STAX Die-namics from My Favorite Things.

Things continue to be very busy for us, but they are all good.  I have been planning a Pumpkin Math event for all of the first graders at school.  It will be this Monday afternoon and I am hoping that everything goes according to plan.  I have always been a "Nervous Nellie" and seeing that I'm new to the building, I'm praying that it all goes well.  Either way, the children will have a ball with all of the pumpkin activities, and at the end of the day, that is really all that matters to me!

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit.  Until next time...Toodles!  :D

Remember Me!

Hello Friends!  Hope that you are happy and well.  Here it is...the end of September, and this is only my second post for the month!!  Egads!  I haven't had the time to check in with a lot of my blogging friends either.  Hopefully things will be better in October!  I've missed you all!  I know that I told you about my new job (which is simply wonderful, by the way), but we have something else pretty special going on in our house now too.  It is taking up quite a bit of our time, but we love him just the same!  Meet our sweet, new family pet!  He is a Holland Lop rabbit and the first pet with fur for the Gajewski family...lol!  We just love him to pieces!

This sweet little guy inspired my card for Jen del Muro's September Sketch For You To Try.  You can find the details to play along on Jen's Blog (click here for the link).  I turned the sketch to better fit my floppy eared friend.  The image and sentiment are from The Cat's Pajamas.  I used Copic Markers to color him up (B95, B97, BG000, E000, E11, E13, R20, R22, YG93, YR20, and YR21) and all of the papers are from My Mind's Eye.  The colors are from last week's TCP Tuesday Challenge.  I added a button from my stash with a bit of twine and some wide grosgrain ribbon to finish this simple card up.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting with me.  Until next time...Toodles!  :D

Silly & Giggly Moments

Hello Friends!  I was hoping to post something crafty this weekend, but here I am on Monday evening instead.  My card is for the color challenge from the TCP Tuesday Challenge and the sketch is the August Sketch For You to Try from Jen Del Muro.  (Just click on the highlighted words to play along too.)
I started off with this delightful new image from The Cat’s Pajamas.  It is from the Quality Time set.  I used my Copic Markers (BG000, BG01, BG53, E11, E13, E15, R83, YR20 YR21, and the Colorless Blender) to color up my image and then I fussy it out.  It is layered on top of a Kraft circle that I embossed with the Seeing Spots embossing folder.  All of the papers are from My Mind’s Eye.  I added a heart from the TCP Heart Trio CutUps and a Kraft button from My Favorite Things.  The Natural Twine is from Taylored Expressions.  A little distressing and some machine stitching finish off this card.
Thank you for visiting with me tonight.  Have a wonderful Tuesday!  Until next time…Toodles!  :D

Playing Catch Up!

Happy Monday Friends!  Did y'all have a wonderful weekend?  I was able to spend some time with my family and a few friends.  Nothing beats that!  I was also able to sneak in some much needed stamping time...Yippee!

My first card is for this past week's Tuesday Challenge from The Cat's Pajama's.  The challenge is to use one of the many bear stamp from TCP and either their Apron Border CutUps die or the Queen of Hearts CutUps die.  You can find all of the details to play along on Alma's Blog.  I didn't have either die, so I improvised and made my Icing CutUps die look similar to the Apron Border (hope that counts!!!)  My sweet bear and sentiment are from the TCP What a Blast set.  The bear is colored with Copic Markers (E11, E13, E15, YG13, YG25, YR30, and YR31) and the fussy cut out.  I used Jen Del Muro's July Sketch For You To Try for my layout.  (You can find all of the details about the sketch on her blog here.)  All of the patterned papers are from Echo Park.  My other details include a silver brad, the Seeing Spots embossing folder, and a little bit of paper piercing in two of the corners.

My other card for today is from a past sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club.  This was sketch MFTWSC65.  I am hoping to catch up on some of the sketches that I've missed while I'm home for the summer.  All of the papers for this one are from My Mind's Eye.  I used the MFT Die-namics Monarch Border and the small die from the Die-namics Open Scallop Doily Duo.  This sweet Pure Innocence girl is from the Jump for Joy set.  She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, E31, G20, G21, R00, R29, R39, and YG67) and I paper pieced her dress.  I used some Baker's Twine for her jump rope and finished this one off with some machine stitching.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit.  Until next time...Toodles!  :D

Sketch For You To Try!

Happy Sunday Friends!  Just a lovely day here in New England.  My boys went golfing and I went shopping with my parents.  Right now, I'm listening to John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molasky on their radio show, Radio Deluxe.  For the last three Sundays, we've just sat on the back deck and listened to their show.  What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!  I hope that you are enjoying your Sunday too!

Here is my card for Jen Del Muro's June Sketch For You To Try.  Just click here to play along.  You can enter your creation until the end of the month.  I used my little mermaid from Your Next Stamp again.  She is from the Happy Days Mermaid set.  I colored her up with Copic Markers (BG000, BG01, E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, and R11) and then I fussy cut her out.  I also added some Star Dust Stickles for the sparkle.  The papers are scraps from my stash.  My other accents include some Hero Arts Lace, Stampin' Up Buttons, and a bit of machine stitching.

Have a terrific start to the work week.  Thanks so much for visiting with me this afternoon!  Until next time...Toodles!  :D

Last Minute Lucy!

Happy Thursday Friends!  It is the last day of the month and if I want to post my creation for Jen Del Muro's Monthly Sketch For You To Try, then I'd better get in high gear and post it!!  I combined Jen's sketch with the TCP Tuesday Challenge from The Cat's Pajamas.  This time the challenge is to add paper pleating to your creation and the wide, horizontal strip on the sketch seemed like the perfect place to add some.

My main image and sentiment are from the Ewe Complete Me set from The Cat's Pajamas. I used my Copic Markers to color up the image (C1, C3, RV17, V05, and YG13) and then I fussy cut it out.  I also used the TCP Heart Trio CutUps.  Some patterned paper and twine from the Lime Twist Collection from My Mind's Eye, a little bit of faux stitching, and a Rich Razzleberry button complete my creation.

Here is the link to Jen's Blog if you can squeeze her wonderful sketch in before 11:59 pm tonight, and here is the link to play along with the TCP Tuesday Challenge.  Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit!  Until next time...Toodles!  :D

The Cat's Pajamas Meets Jen's SFYTT!

Hello Friends! I'm back this evening with another creation to share. This time around, I'm combining this week's inspiration challenge from The Cat's Pajamas with Jen Del Muro's March Sketch For You To Try. Again, I apologize for not providing the links to these challenges, but for some reason, my linking tool is not working. The Cat's Pajamas challenge is found at 'www.dancinginpajamas.blogspot.com' and Jen's sketch can be found at 'www.iheart2stamp.com'. This sweet bear is from the TCP Peeking set. He is from their winter release, but I'm using him here for one of the many birthday cards that I need this month. I colored him up with Copic Markers (E21, E23, E25, and E51) and then I paper pieced his present and fussy cut him out. The sentiment is from the TCP Birthday Bunny set. All of the papers are from My Mind's Eye. I used Jen's sketch for the layout. My accents include some Divine Twine, a button from my stash, the Seeing Spots embossing folder, and some machine stitching. I think that this card will be for my Dad's birthday. Thanks so much for visiting with me tonight! Have a happy start to the work week...Toodles! :D

I'm Pulling For You!

Hello Friends! I said that I'd be back today, and here I am. I got together with two stamping friends recently, and because my stamping mojo was missing in action, I decided to just stamp and color. I went through all of my Pure Innocence images and stamped one of each of the ones that had yet to see ink. My reasoning was...use what you have before you go out and buy more. Here is one of the images from the other night and now I turned it into a card. I used Jen Del Muro's February Sketch for You to Try. (I can't believe that February is almost over and I haven't used Jen's sketch yet!!!) My image is from the My Favorite Things A Cart Full of Friends set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG11, BG13, C0, C1, C3, E000, E00, E01, E13, E23, E25, R81, V01, and V06) and then fussy cut out. I added some Baker's Twine for the wagon string. All of the patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye and the card stock and buttons are from Papertrey Ink. A couple of black brads and some Baker's Twine for the buttons finish off my creation.

That's about all for today. Thanks so much for visiting with me. See you soon...Toodles! :D

Bear Hugs & Kisses!

Hello Friends! How are you? This weekend went by so quickly! I cannot believe that it is already Sunday evening! We didn't do anything too special this weekend, but it flew by. I managed to sneak in some stamping time this afternoon. This special card is for the TCP Tuesday Challenge and Jen Del Muro's January Sketch For You To Try. The Cat's Pajama's Challenge is an inspiration one with lots of texture and shades of red and hearts.

I started off with my bear friend from the TCP set, Bear Hugs. He is stamped on Kraft card stock, colored up with Copic Markers (E23 and E31), and then I fussy cut out. The sentiment is from the same set. His little heart is paper pieced. All of the patterned papers are from Crate Paper. My other accents include a heart made of cork paper from the Heart Trio CutUps with a little button and some Peppermint Divine Twine. The cirlce panel is embossed with hearts and I added some machine stitching around the main panel.

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit! Enjoy the rest of your evening...Toodles! :D

A LONG Post!!

Hello Friends! I have a lot to share with you this evening. I hope that you will bear with me. I have a card for this month's Sketch For You To Try, and because it is December, it is the last sketch of the year. If you played along in each of the monthly sketches, you need to list all of your previous cards in order to be eligible for Jen's BIG prize. So, I thought that I'd share the cards again and the original posts. (This month's sketch is the next to the last card in this post. I combined it with the color challenge from The Cat's Pajamas. The last card in this post is the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club.) Here goes. My January's card and the blog link.

Here is my February card and blog link.

Here is March's sketch card and blog link.

Here is April's card and blog link.

Here is the card for May's sketch and the blog link.

Up next, June's card and blog link.

Here is the card for July's sketch and the blog link.

Here is my card for the August sketch and my blog link.

Up next, my card for the September sketch and the blog link.

Are you still with me? I hope so! Here is my card for October's sketch and my blog link.

Here is my November card and the blog link.

Finally, here is my card for Jen's December Sketch For You To Try.

I combined Jen's sketch (which I printed out and never realized that I was looking at it upside down the whole time I was designing this card...lol!) with the color challenge from The Cat's Pajamas. The challenge is to use Pale Pink, Red, and Steel Gray. You can find all of the details on Alma's Blog. My sweet image is from the TCP Raising Cane set. He is colored up with Copic Markers (C0, C1, G21, G24, R29, R39, R81, and R83) and the sparkle is from Star Dust Stickles. The papers are from Echo Park and Memory Box. The gray buttons were made with The Cat's Pajama's Buttons CutUps. I also added some Oyster Divine Twine, some TCP Seam Binding, and a bit of machine stitching.

There you have it. A whole year's worth of Jen's FABULOUS sketches!! I do have one more card to share with you tonight. My aunt passed away yesterday. Aunt Rita was a wonderful and loving lady and I will miss her. She loved crafts and sewing and I find myself thinking of her all of the time when I am stamping. This is the sympathy card that will go out to my uncle and cousins. Aunt Rita always appreciated something handmade and I know that she would love this card.

I used the past sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find the sketch and all of the details to play along here. The papers are from My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things More Essential Sentiments set. It is stamped onto a die cut that I made with the MFT Die-namics Framed Greetings die. Some machine stitching and a trio of pearls complete my card.

Thank you so much for visiting with me tonight. I had a ball looking back at all of my SFYTT cards, and I hope that you enjoyed them too. Enjoy the rest of your evening...Toodles! :D

A Productive Weekend!

Happy Monday Friends! I hope that you had a wonderful long weekend. Things have been so busy C*R*A*Z*Y here lately...we just finished cleaning up the yard from all of the storm damage, I have cleaned our home from top to bottom, I am up to my eyeballs with work from my graduate class, and I made oodles of cards for my principal! Throw in some Christmas shopping and a lot of family time and that about sums up my weekend. I also managed to squeeze in some stamping time for myself too.

My first card is for the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find all of the details here. I used this cupcake lovin' cutie from the MFT Pure Innocence Hello, Cupcake set. The sentiment is from the Pure Innocence Birthday Princess set. All of the papers are from My Mind's Eye. Copic Markers (E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, R11, R37, R39, R81, R83, R85, Y21, and Y26) were used to color up my image. I also used the Die-namics Simply Scallops die, the Die-namics File Tab die, and the Die-namics Tag You're It die. My other accents include some mini pearls, some machine stitching, and some craft twine.

My other card is for this week's "Food Fight" Challenge from The Cat's Pajamas! Susan Liles is the Hostess for the Mostess this week, and she didn't really want us to start throwing food around (although, after today's lunch duty at school, I'm not so sure...lol!) She really wanted us to use any TCP stamps with food, and as a bonus...use the Icing CutUps. I've had this cute little guy from the Like You a Latte set in my stash for awhile now. I decided it was time to ink him up. I'm going to say that the food is the soup in his cup...wink wink! He is colored up with Copic Markers (E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, and R11) and paper pieced with My Mind's Eye papers. All of the patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye. My accents include a couple of buttons, the Icing CutUps, and the Seeing Spots embossing folder. I also used the November Sketch For You To Try from Jen Del Muro.

That's about all for tonight. Thanks so much for visiting with me...Toodles! :D

Mixing Things Up!

Happy Monday everyone, and to my friends here in the States...Happy Labor Day! It has been a busy weekend, so it's nice to have a day off from work and do a few things around the house. It also gives me some extra stamping time. I have two cards to share with you today. They combine some of my favorite challenges too. First up is this adorable penguin trio from the Hello Pumpkin set from The Cat's Pajamas. The TCP Tuesday challenge is to use an image with wings, so I went with penguin wings. I used a few Copic Markers (YG13, YG17, YR15, YR16) to color up the small areas of the image. My sketch is from Jen Del Muro's September Sketch For You To Try. The patterned papers are from Memory Box. I added a Papertrey Ink button with some TCP Divine Twine to the sentiment and then I used the Button CutUps from TCP to dress up the bottom corner of my card.

My next card combines the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club with the My Favorite Things Guest Designer Contest. This month's contest is to use ripping and rolling in our designs. I took care of the ripping part by using a ruler to rip the straight edges on my Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 patterned paper layers. I also ripped a few of the card stock layers. I used a distressing tool to clean them up a bit. The rolling part was easy. I used the MFT Die-namics Rolled Rose die with some MFT Banana Wool Felt and a pearl for the center of the blossom. My other accents include the MFT Die-namics Simply Scallops Die with a few pearls and the sentiment was stamped onto a die cut made with the MFT Die-namics Textile Rectangle set. The star of this card is this lovely girl from the MFT a la modes - Cheers set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (B0000, C7, C9, E00, E23, E25, E40, R11, Y21, Y32, and the Colorless Blender.) A touch of Star Dust Stickles on the champagne flute complete my creation.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today. Have a wonderful week...Toodles! :D

Sketches!!!

Good Morning Friends! Our power just came back on, so I thought that I'd better post quickly before we end up losing it again. We lost a little bit of food in our refrigerator, but aside from that, we faired Hurricane Irene pretty well. I'm grateful that we only lost power, water, and telephone for 17 hours. Things could have been much worse.

Luckily, I had Jen's August Sketch For You To Try and last Wednesday's sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club printed out. Just click on the colored links to see the sketches and play along. I couldn't do any sewing on my cards, but I was happy that I could still make cards.

First up, Jen's sketch. I used this darling little ant from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. She's colored up with Prisma Color Pencils. I used Papertrey Ink Kraft card stock for the card base. It's embossed with the Seeing Spots embossing folder. The sentiment and gingham paper are from A*Muse. The flowered paper is from October Afternoon and the orange print is from Stampin' Up. I also added a Stampin' Up button and some Divine Twine.

My other card is for the MFT Sketch. I colored up and paper pieced this sweet little Pure Innocence girl from the MFT Make Mine A Double set. This time around, I used my Copic Markers (BG000, BG72, E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, E33, G20, G21, G94, G99, and R11). The white and Kraft card stock is from Papertrey Ink and I used some papers from the Minuet collection from Memory Box. My accents include the MFT Die-namics Textile Rectangle for the sentiment piece, Baker's Twine, a Stampin' Up button, and the MFT Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip.

Thanks so much for visiting with me. Have a beautiful day...Toodles! :D

A Sketch For You To Try!

Happy Sunday Friends! I hope that you are having a great weekend!

The heat is starting to let up in New England. In fact, it has rained here all morning, but that is just fine with me! I end up with a little bit more stamping time when it rains, so I'm happy.

My niece will be starting high school in the fall. (How on earth did that happen?!?!? It seems like she was just in Kindergarten!) Her birthday is next month. I thought that this new a la mode girl would be perfect for her. I also thought that this image would work wonderfully with Jen Del Muro's July Sketch For You To Try.

My image and sentiment are from the My Favorite Things You Are Unrepeatable set. This sweet growing up girl is colored up with Copic Markers (BG11, BG13, C0, C1, E000, E00, E23, E25, R11, RV11, RV34, YG03, YG13, YG25, YG63, and the Colorless Blender) and then cut out. She is popped up with foam squares and then layered onto some papers from the Lime Twist collection from My Mind's Eye. The buttons were made with The Cat's Pajamas Button CutUps and I used some matching "Happy" twine from MME to tie everything together. A little machine stitching in the right corner finishes this one off.

Enjoy what is left of the weekend! Thank you so much for visiting with me...Toodles! :D

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Sunday Friends! It is a beautiful day here in New England! Mother Nature really gave all of the Dads out there a very Happy Father's Day! I hope that you are having a lovely day too. I used this week's TCP Tuesday challenge for the colors for DH's Father's Day card (Yes, he is manly enough to handle Cotton Candy pink on his card...lol!) Here's a peek at the colors...

And here is what I came up with. I am having a love affair with Big Bear lately and he works perfectly with Jen's Sketch For You To Try. The only Copic Markers that I used today are C3 and the Colorless Blender. The red polka dotted paper and the aqua print in the circle are from Papertrey Ink. I also used their Pure Poppy and Aqua Mist card stock. The pink patterned paper is from Melissa Frances. The large doily was made with MFT's Dainty Doily Die-namics Die and the buttons were created with the TCP Buttons CutUps and some of their Divine Twine.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today! Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and until next time...Toodles! :D

A Masculine Blogger's Challenge

Happy Friday Friends! We have a masculine challenge today for this week's Blogger's Challenge, and with Father's Day just around the corner, it couldn't have come at a better time. I started off with Jen Del Muro's June Sketch For You To Try and I pulled out lots of older supplies for this one. First of all, the main image is from a 2001 Stampin' Up set called Wonderful Woodcuts! It's an old set, but a great one! I colored it up with Copic Markers (B0000, B00, B12, B14, C1, E000, E01, E11, E33, R29, R59, YG13, YG63, Y32, and Y35.) It is mounted onto a layer of Night of Navy and then I tore the edges of a Creamy Caramel layer and stamped the speckles from the Itty Bitty Backgrounds set (another SU oldie, but goodie). The polka dotted panel is from Memory box and YES, that is a square of MAGIC MESH!!! Do you remember Magic Mesh? I told you that I pulled out a lot older supplies...lol! I did some machine sewing around the main layer and then I added a button and some Blueberry Divine Twine from The Cat's Pajamas. Thanks so much for visiting with me today. If you'd like to play along with this week's Blogger's Challenge, just click here. I'll be back soon with some more stamping projects. Until then...Toodles! :D

My Favorite Things Meets The Cat's Pajama's

Happy Monday Friends! I hope that your start to the work week was a great one! I have two cards to share with you today. They are for two of my favorite weekly challenges. The first card up is for the sketch for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find all of the details to play along here. I have had this little Pure Innocence cutie since her April release and decided that it was high time that she be introduced to some ink! She is from the MFT Crazy for Daisies set and she's colored up with Copic Markers (B00, B12, B14, BG000, C1, E000, E00, E01, E11, E25, E29, R20, Y32, Y35, YG13, YG63, and the Colorless Blender.) The patterned paper is from Sweetwater and I have had it FOREVER! I thought that it was time to finally put it to good use. It is accented with black card stock layers. I also did some machine stitching and I added some May Arts ribbon with a PTI button and some TCP Divine Twine. The bottom is finished off with the MFT Die-namics Double Scallop Border.

My next card is for the TCP Tuesday Challenge and this week, we need to use fabric. You can find all of the details right here. I used Jen Del Muro's June Sketch For You To Try for my layout. I stamped Big Bear on an old gingham shirt with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Then I cut him out. I also stamped him onto a sheet of card stock. I colored up his ears, nose area, and feet pads with E40 and then cut those out and glued them to the shirt fabric. He is layered onto some Jillibean Soup papers and the MFT Die-namics Dainty Doily Die is made from Chocolate Chip card stock. The sentiment is from TCP's Like You A Latte set. I used some more of the shirt and a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock for the button accent that I made with the TCP Button CutUps. Some Baker's Twine and a touch of faux stitching finish this one off.

I'd like to leave you this evening with a special photograph. On Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting some "Stamping Royalty". My delightful friend, Linda Monroe and I headed into Boston to become "Copic Certified". The class was taught by two very lovely and talented ladies...Lori Craig and Debbie Olson! I was lucky enough to be sitting next to the very sweet and talented Joanne Basile! What a FABULOUS day!! Just in case you were wondering...Linda is the one with the pretty purple glasses. Lori is the tall blonde. Debbie is the tall brunette. Joanne has the pretty green top, and I'm the short one in the middle...lol! Thank you for visiting with me...Toodles! :D

Together IS the Nicest Place!

Good Morning Friends! How is your weekend going? It has been quiet around here for the most part. Yesterday, we went to one of the local nurseries to get some more flowers and plants for our yard. Then I had the chance to go shopping with my Mom. It was a fun day! I had some extra time in the evening so I decided to give this week's TCP Challenge a try! This time around, we are to use stamps from The Cat's Pajamas with flowers! I can't believe that this is the only TCP stamp that I own with a flower...one itty, bitty, flower!! All of the patterned papers are from the Lime Twist collection from My Mind's Eye. The card stock is from The Paper Source. This color is Beet and I thought that it was a great match. I ran the layer through my 'bug with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder. My main image and sentiment are from the Ewe Complete Me set from The Cat's Pajamas. I used my Copic Markers to color up the image (C1, C3, RV17, V05, and YG13) and Rich Razzleberry ink for the sentiment. I also used Jen Del Muro's May Sketch For You To Try for my layout. I love how it all came together! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! I'll be back tomorrow! Until then...Toodles! :D
