Hello There!

I'm going to start this post by saying that I'm not in love with this card, but it's growing on me the longer I look at it...lol! It has been forever and a day since I've used this set (Stampin' Up's Cheep Talk). While I love these stamps, I just couldn't seem to get it all to turn out the way that I planned it in my head. I made this for my two favorite Friday challenges. This week's Blogger's Challenge is a sketch. You can find all of the details here and you can play along too if you'd like. Just remember to add your link over on Lisa's blog. My other favorite Friday challenge is Jessie's Forgotten Stamp Friday. Jessie challenges you to to make a card or project using a stamp that hasn't been used or has been owned and NOT used for at least six months. This set works perfectly because I haven't used it for over a year!!

Here are all of the details about my card. The base and the Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip from My Favorite Things is made from Stampin' Up's Pumpkin Pie. The flowery patterned paper is from October Afternoon and the orange gingham is from A*Muse. The ribbon is from Martha Stewart. I added a Doodlebug Designs button with a little piece of Baker's Twine to the bow. The main image panel is colored with various Stampin' Up markers (Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, and Pumpkin Pie) and then I added a few Making Memories brads.

That's about it for this card. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'll be back again soon! Until then...Toodles! :D

Love those colors together and that die is a favorite (I think I have the larger one). Fab job with the sketch.

I love that stamp set too - I remember making a card at Judi's. BTW we miss you!
I think I'll enter that lost stamp challenge too.
Take care - off to see Elizabeth and Chris today.

These bright colors are perfect for the sketch and for the image. I like it. I have this set too and it's been a long time since I've used it. Maybe I will pull it out this week. You have inspired me!
