I am so happy that today is Friday. It has been another busy week here and I'm really looking forward to the weekend. I'm especially looking forward to this evening because I'm heading to Right at Home Scrapbooking store. I will have the wonderful opportunity to meet Kim from My Favorite Things stamps and Alma from The Cat's Pajamas! How fun and exciting! It will also be a great time to meet up with some stamping friends of mine.My card today is for this week's Blogger's Challenge. Lisa came up with this fantastic sketch for us to play with. If you'd like to play along too, just head over to her blog here. For this one, I combined a sentiment from the My Favorite Things More Essential Sentiments set with their Die-namics Layered Label Die. The patterned papers are from the Stella and Rose collection from My Mind's Eye. I also used So Saffon and Night of Navy card stock from Stampin' Up. The So Saffron strip was embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and then sewed onto the patterned paper layer. I also used some So Saffron grosgrain ribbon with some Night satin ribbon from the Paper Source. A few pearls in the opposite corners complete the sketch.
