Happy Friday Stampers! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I plan on stamping with some wonderful friends of mine on Sunday. That's always something to look forward to!We have finally had a break in the heat and humidity here in New England and it is starting to feel like Autumn! Yippee! I simply adore the fall season and I'm thrilled that it's on its' way! Just in time for this week's Blogger's Challenge too. If you haven't already guessed...our theme this week is Fall/Autumn. My card started off with Jen's terrific Sketch For You to Try from last Saturday. Then I pulled out one of my favorite Stampin' Up sets...Trendy Trees. The little trees are inked up with Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Chocolate Chip. Next, I went through all of my scraps of patterned paper and found all of these pieces. One of my goals this summer was to "Tame the Scrap Piles"...lol! I have the solids organized by color families in file folders and then I have one file folder for Stampin' Up patterned pieces. I bought a great basket at Mikes and it sits on the floor right next to my chair and holds all of these file folders. When I need a color or a piece of patterned paper, I head over there first. It's really helping me stay organized and it's keeping my area quite clean at the same time.
