Mother's Day!

Happy Friday! It's a glorious day here in New England! I've had a fun filled one at the local science museum. I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the chaperons for my little one's class trip and we had a wonderful day together. Such a terrific way to start off Mother's Day weekend, which just happens to be the theme for this week's Blogger's Challenge.

I did a "pretty" card last week, so now I'm back to the "cutesy" stuff...lol! I started off with Mary Jo's sketch. My card base is Stampin' Up's Baja Breeze and I paired that up with some Quite Contrary paper from My Mind's Eye. I just love Heather Ellis' Pure Innocence digital images. You can find them here. This little cutie is colored up with Copic markers (BG10, BG72, C1, E000, E01, E15, E17, E19, E29, E31, E35, R20, R29, R81, R83, R85 and YR15) and layered onto a piece of Certainly Celery. I used my Scallop Border punch across the bottom, a few buttons on the side, and a touch of faux stitching in the corner to complete this one.

If you need a few Mother's Day ideas, be sure to stop by and see what the other Ladies in the BC group have come up with. You can find their blogs here. Thanks so much for visiting today, and to everyone who is a "Mom" out there, Happy Mother's Day to you...Toodles! :D

Kim,
This is a great card. I love these pure innocence images and this is a great set for Mothers Day. Your trip to the Science Museum sounds like a lot of fun. I haven't been there in a few years, but that was always a favorite place to go with the kids when they were in school. Thanks so much for the comments on my blog. I love hearing from you and I also love looking at your cards. The DSP on this is really nice. Happy Mother's Day!
