A Little Behind!

Well, here it is late Sunday night and I am just now getting my Blogger's Challenge from Friday posted...ugh! Sorry for being a little bit behind. Our challenge was to use die cuts or punches. I went with both. I used my Nesties for the circles and my Stampin' Up punches for the ovals. Except for the sentiment from Papertrey Ink (which is still available through their website), this card is made with all retired things from Stampin' Up, but they are all things that I still love to use. The flowers from Watercolor Garden II are stamped with Certainly Celery and Not Quite Navy ink and the background stamp is Floral. I added a few Making Memories brads and a swirl clip with a piece of celery ribbon for accents. The designer paper was from a free Stampin' Up pad a few years ago. I'm really trying to use up some of the things that I have. It makes me feel a little bit better about buying some new items...lol! This wonderful layout is from Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. If you'd like to play along, you can find her blog here. And, if you'd like to see some more ideas to go with your punches and die cuts, then be sure to check out what the other Ladies in the Blogger's Challenge group have come up with. Just click on the logo in my right sidebar. Thanks so much for stopping by tonight...Toodles! :D

Beautiful work! I like that you used one of those spiral clips too - I always had a hard time figuring out what to do with those things!
