Happy Friday! It has seemed like such a long week! I am SO looking forward to this weekend! We don't have anything special planned, but it will be nice to just hang out at home and get a few things done around the house.I was thrilled that this week's Blogger's Challenge was "No Layers" because with this week being so CRAZY, I needed to go with quick and simple! That's what I think of when I hear, "no layers". There wasn't any extra paper to cut or matching designer papers or gluing...it was just quick and simple! I used another one of the new digital images from Pink Cat Studio and I just made the sentiment on the computer (however, Melissa has FREE sentiments over on her site! I'm just not clever enough with the computer to import two images on the same document...lol!) After my little owl friends were printed, I colored them up with Fibracolor markers. They are just regular markers that I picked up at Michaels. With a coupon, I think they were $10.00 for 100 markers! For that price...I just had to give them a try, and I must say that I'm happy with the results! I finished this one off with a strip of polka dotted grosgrain (I made all of the polka dots in this image match the ribbon!) So here it is...my attempt at a card without layers!
