Blogger's Challenge...Finally!!

This week's Blogger's Challenge was to create a triangular shaped box. My box was made using the directions that were found on Becky Oehlers's blog. What a darling little party favor or quick little something to pass along to someone! Because this was my first try with this, I decided to keep it very simple. I started off by layering some Chatterbox patterned paper (Cottage Pixie Garden) to my box. My Elzybells Flower Girl is stamped in Stazon ink and colored up with watercolor pencils. The sentiment is from one of those $1.00 Studio G sets that I picked up at AC Moore. (Everything around here is more brown than green, so I'm sure that I could pass this little treat box along to any one of my colleagues and they'd be thrilled to think that "Spring is is the air!") The larger scalloped oval was made with my Marvy punch and the tiny one was made with my Punch Bunch punch. I added a little bit of sponging and paper piercing around the bumps and a touch of some May Arts ribbon from my stash and that is basically it. Very simple! I apologize that this wasn't posted on Friday like the rest of the ladies from the Blogger's Challenge group. My camera has not been cooperating with me!!!

For more wonderful triangular creations, check out the Blogger's Challenge link on the right side of my blog. There are many different patterns out there. So glad that you could stop by...Toodles! :D

What a cute little box - the paper is so pretty! I also like how you used an oval on top of the box, I never would have thought of that...
