Good day to you! This week's Blogger's Challenge (yes, I know I'm a day late...lol!) was to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) a fellow member of the Blogger's Challenge group. Well, let me tell you...this was not an easy task. The ladies in this group have so much talent and truly make beautiful cards. To make it a little easier on myself, I went to my saved pictures and found
this card by Ida Krause. Just scroll down to the bottom of her post to see the card. I immediately loved her color combination and the layout of the card, so that's what I went with. Thank you for the inspiration Ida! :D
Here are the details on this one...I used Stampin' Up's Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip card stock, and pieces of patterned Kraft paper and some retired Stampin' Up designer paper (with stripes). The blossom is stamped in Baja Breeze and Old Olive ink and then cut out. It's layered on a white, embossed piece, but I don't think you can see the embossing all too well in the photograph (just click on the picture if you'd like a better view). Like Ida, I used the Scallop Edge punch and some twine around my sentiment.
If you have some blog browsing time today, then click
here and see what the other ladies from the group have come up with. For a change, we are having a nice weather day here in New England. Unfortunately, the weather has not been cooperating this summer at all. I hope that it's beautiful in your neck of the woods! Thanks so much for stopping by today...Toodles! :D
