Hoppy Easter!!

Hello Friends! I wanted to attempt another challenge before I head back to school tomorrow. Between my missing mojo and my photography problems, it seems that my stamps from The Cat's Pajamas haven't received much love lately. Last night, I took some time to rectify that problem and I made this card. The TCP Tuesday Challenge for this week is to use the colors Mossy Green, Soft Pink, and Aqua. I inked up this sweet bunny from the TCP Sugar, Sugar set. He is colored up with Copic Markers (BG000, BG01, C0, C1,C3, E31, E33, E35, G20, G21, R20, R22, R81, R83) and then I fussy cut around his ears. I used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch, but I turned it around to better suit my image. The argyle patterned paper is from the Quite Contrary collection from My Mind's Eye and the soft green patterned paper is from the This and That collection from Echo Park. My other accents include a button made with the TCP Button CutUps and some TCP Aqua Seam Binding. The layers for the sentiment were made with EK Success Punches.

Thanks for visiting with me today. I'm heading back to rest. Mr. Migraine has stopped by for a visit...ugh! Enjoy what's left of the weekend...Toodles! :D

Celebrate Blogger's Challenge and MFT!

Happy Friday Friends! I hope you had a terrific week. We had the week off from school for Winter Break, so it's been wonderful here. I had time to do some stamping, organize a few things, and create a few activities for my littles when I get back to school.

This week's Blogger's Challenge is to use the colors red, black, and white. Just head on over to Lisa Somerville's blog to play along in the challenge. March is just around the corner. I need oodles and oodles of birthday cards for March, so I thought that I'd ink up this Pure Innocence cutie again and combine the Blogger's Challenge with the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. My image is from the MFT Something Special For You set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (C1, Eooo, Eoo, Eo1, E23, E27, E29, R29, and R39) and paper pieced with some Echo Park papers. I also used the Die-namics File Tab Die, the Die-namics Decorative Doily Duo Die (the larger of the two pack), and the Die-namics Double Scallop Border die. Some machine stitching and a brad for each corner finishes off my card.

Thanks so much for visiting with me. Have a wonderful weekend...Toodles! :D

I'm Pulling For You!

Hello Friends! I said that I'd be back today, and here I am. I got together with two stamping friends recently, and because my stamping mojo was missing in action, I decided to just stamp and color. I went through all of my Pure Innocence images and stamped one of each of the ones that had yet to see ink. My reasoning was...use what you have before you go out and buy more. Here is one of the images from the other night and now I turned it into a card. I used Jen Del Muro's February Sketch for You to Try. (I can't believe that February is almost over and I haven't used Jen's sketch yet!!!) My image is from the My Favorite Things A Cart Full of Friends set. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG11, BG13, C0, C1, C3, E000, E00, E01, E13, E23, E25, R81, V01, and V06) and then fussy cut out. I added some Baker's Twine for the wagon string. All of the patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye and the card stock and buttons are from Papertrey Ink. A couple of black brads and some Baker's Twine for the buttons finish off my creation.

That's about all for today. Thanks so much for visiting with me. See you soon...Toodles! :D

Another Card to Share!

Happy Sunday Friends! I am back today with another card to share with you. This one is for the sketch from the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. You can find the sketch and all of the details to play along here. I started off with this sweet Pure Innocence girl from the MFT set, Out On a Limb. She is colored up with Copic Markers (BG11, BG13, C0, E000, E00, E01, E23, E25, and YR16) and then fussy cut out. The sentiment is from their Pure Innocence Poppy set. All of the papers are from the Farmhouse Collection from Crate Paper and the card stock is from Papertrey Ink (Enchanted Evening and Kraft). The buttons are from my stash and I added lots of machine stitching.

I'm trying to catch up on some of my favorite challenges that I've missed lately. Hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow with another creation to share. Until next time...Toodles! :D

Long Time, No Blog!

Hello Friends! It's been awhile. I think that I've figured out part of my problem. I have still been stamping and creating...the problem seems to start when I try to photograph my project. I've tried different areas in my home, different backdrops, and different editing features, but no luck. I'll have to just accept what the photograph looks like and please know that I've tried my best. So without further explanation, here is my card for this week's Blogger's Challenge. The theme is the seashore. Just click here to play along with us. I went back to my stamping roots for this one and used all Stampin' Up products. I did a little variation and made two cards. Here is the design that I had swirling around in my head and my results...

I used Night of Navy and Sahara Sand card stock and ink. I'm not sure which set the sentiment comes from, but the Adirondack chair image is from the Along the Shore (retired) set. I also used the Linen Background stamp. The button and Baker's Twine are from my stash.

When I finished this card, I decided to make another one with all of the same stamps and papers and few other accents.

Both cards are on the clean and simple side. I need oodles of birthday cards for March, so clean and simple is the way to go. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit with me. Have a wonderful President's Day weekend...Toodles! :D
